Peanut Butter and Jam Baked Oats Breakfast, served with Yogurt
Ingredients
- 200g oats
- 2 bananas
- 400ml low fat milk
- 150g berries
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tsp reduced sugar jam
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- Banana or other fresh berries to top
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish or individual ramekins with a little bit of butter or cooking spray.
- Peel the bananas and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
- Add the oats, milk, and mashed bananas into a mixing bowl. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.
- Stir the peanut butter and jam into the oat mixture until evenly distributed.
- Gently fold in the berries into the oat mixture. You can use any berries you prefer, such as strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.
- Pour the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish or ramekins, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the oats are set and the top is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove the oats from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve the baked oats with a dollop of yogurt on top.
- Garnish with additional slices of banana or fresh berries if desired.
